I may want to use it on older systems, some applications that may require certain DIR tables. I've also heard that the actual drawing tools are not as good as the paid alternatives. I've tried FontForge (since I used it a lot to debug my code) and really dislike the user interface. Only issue is I see that Glyphs Mini does NOT support TTF file creation? A hard NO then. With Glyphs having the best user experience and customer support. So when I look at the software options out there, I've only seen Glyphs mini and TypeTool 3 that have been good options at the price I can justify.
