I've tried FontForge (since I used it a lot to debug my code) and really dislike the user interface. Only issue is I see that Glyphs Mini does NOT support TTF file creation? A hard NO then. With Glyphs having the best user experience and customer support. So when I look at the software options out there, I've only seen Glyphs mini and TypeTool 3 that have been good options at the price I can justify.
